Job Description
Partner Staffing is currently working with our client seeking a highly skilled and motivated Transportation Engineer to join their dynamic team in Kelowna. The successful candidate will play a key role in the planning, design, and implementation of transportation infrastructure projects, including roads, highways, bridges, and transit systems.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and oversee transportation engineering projects from conceptual design through to detailed design and construction.
- Conduct feasibility studies, impact assessments, and traffic analysis.
- Prepare engineering drawings, specifications, and cost estimates.
- Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure project objectives are met.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and technical staff.
- Ensure compliance with local, provincial, and federal regulations and standards.
- Participate in public consultations and stakeholder engagement processes.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and documentation for clients and regulatory agencies.
- Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to ensure successful project delivery.

Requirements

Ensure compliance with local, provincial, and federal regulations and standards. Participate in public consultations and stakeholder engagement processes. Prepare reports, presentations, and documentation for clients and regulatory agencies. Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to ensure successful project delivery. Qualifications : Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field. Professional Engineer (P.Eng) designation in Alberta, or eligibility to obtain it. 3-6 years of experience
