Job descriptionA detail‑oriented, creative mindset with exceptional organizational abilities and the capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously. 2‑3+ years of hands‑on experience in video content creation, producing engaging short‑form content for social media platforms. University or college degree in Film Production, Digital Media, Marketing, Communications, or a related field. Proficiency with industry‑standard video editing tools including CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar platforms. Deep understanding of vertical video formats and platform‑specific requirements for TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and Facebook. Knowledge and application of visual storytelling techniques, including hook creation, pacing, transitions, and caption writing that drives engagement. Experience working within an agency setting is an asset, demonstrating ability to manage multiple clients and adapt to diverse brand voices. Familiarity with the home services industry (plumbing, HVAC, electrical, roofing, etc.) is an asset.

In this pivotal role, you’ll transform raw footage, photos, and creative concepts into compelling 15‑30 second videos that drive real business results for home service businesses across North America.
Responsibilities
- Leverage AI prompts and animation tools to transform static photos into dynamic vertical videos.
- Transform raw video clips, photos, and graphics into engaging vertical content using both traditional editing techniques and cutting‑edge AI animation tools.
- Create and rigorously test visual and written hooks designed to maximize view rates in the first 3 seconds.
- Compile and edit 15‑30 second videos optimized for Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and Facebook, ensuring alignment with platform best practices.
- Work with provided materials—video clips, photos, graphics, and brand assets—to craft cohesive, on‑brand content that tells compelling stories.
- Develop attention‑grabbing captions and on‑screen text that complement visual storytelling.
- Analyze video performance metrics to continuously refine engagement and conversion rates.
- Partner with social media and content teams to align video content with broader marketing strategies and client objectives.
Qualifications
This position is primarily remote. Self‑motivation, deadline‑drive, and responsiveness using project management and collaboration tools are essential.
