Position Summary

Reporting to the Food & Beverage Manager - The Server is responsible for delivering attentive, efficient, and friendly service in a dining setting. This role includes taking food and drink orders, serving meals and beverages, and ensuring a high level of guest satisfaction. The Server must possess thorough menu knowledge, handle transactions accurately, and address guest inquiries or concerns with professionalism and care.

Key Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly, provide menu recommendations, and address dietary preferences and restrictions.

Accurately take and process orders using the point-of-sale (POS) system and coordinate with kitchen staff for timely service.

Serve food and beverages with proper presentation and adherence to service standards while monitoring guest needs throughout the dining experience.

Maintain clean and organized dining areas, including setting and clearing tables, and ensure back-of-house areas are hygienic and tidy.

Adhere to ProServe standards, alcohol service regulations, and all health and safety protocols, including proper food handling.

Present checks to guests, process payments accurately, and reconcile daily transactions following company policies.

Assist in setting up and serving for special events or banquets, including arranging seating and preparing service stations.

Monitor inventory levels, report shortages, and assist in training new servers on menu items and service techniques.

Address guest complaints or concerns according to procedures, escalating issues to management when necessary.

Contribute to departmental briefings, collaborate with colleagues, and assist in other resort areas as required.

Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Flexibility to work in all Food & Beverage outlets.

Diploma or degree in hospitality is an asset.

Eligible to work in Canada full-time.

Able to lift, push or pull up to 40Ibs.

Ability to manage multiple tables and tasks efficiently, especially during busy service periods.

Positive attitude and commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences.

ProServe certification or willing to obtain.

Previous serving or hospitality experience is an asset but not required.

Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Duration : This is a Full-Time seasonal position, April to October. Overtime during busy periods may be required.
