Adecco is actively seeking a Senior Human Resources Manager to join our client's team located in London, Ontario. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in HR within a manufacturing environment, particularly in a unionized setting. You will have a solid understanding of the Collective Agreement and be responsible for ensuring smooth operations in attendance management, employee relations, and the recruitment process. This is a full-time position offering an excellent compensation package.
Pay Rate : $100k-$110k / year.

Job type : Permanent | Full-time Responsibilities :
Ensure compliance with the agreement, including addressing and resolving employee-related issues through the grievance process.
Handle sensitive employee issues with discretion and consistency, ensuring alignment with the Collective Agreement.
Support managers in the administration of the collective agreement(s) and HR best practices.
Administer the program, ensuring compliance and addressing escalated cases as necessary.
Work with operational leaders on non-occupational disability accommodations and leaves of absence. Provide updates to supervisors on return-to-work status.
Coach, mentor, and offer resolutions to employee concerns. Conduct regular plant visits to engage with employees and address their needs.
Organize training sessions and activities to ensure high engagement levels across the plant.
Conduct exit interviews and analyze trends to present to management.
Liaise with employees on payroll and benefits inquiries, ensuring timely follow-ups and accurate documentation.
Provide backup coverage for Health and Safety responsibilities as needed.
Assist in HR audits, record-keeping, and timely reporting within the HRIS system.
Lead the recruitment process for hourly employees, including posting positions, screening resumes, conducting interviews, and new hire orientations.
Provide support as needed in HR operations and recruitment. Requirements :
Legal eligibility to work and reside in Canada.
Diploma or Certificate in Human Resource Management or equivalent experience. A CHRP designation is a strong asset.
5+ years of HR experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment and unionized setting.
Excellent communication, conflict resolution, and analytical skills.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Kronos.
