Hamilton Based – Dairy / Food & Beverage – Project Delivery

The Dairy industry is ramping up again with several projects on the books across NZ. To complement one of the largest specialist dairy / food teams in the country, we are after a senior Project Manager that can work autonomously in the delivery of a multi-million-dollar dairy / food construction projects. It will include liaising directly with key clients in the conceptual discussions, through to overseeing the design, construction and commissioning of these large multi-faceted dairy / food projects. These projects will be in throughout New Zealand, but you will be based in Hamilton.

Note : we will only consider applicants with a very strong level of project management experience from within the Dairy or Food Industries, from either a contractor, consultancy, large manufacturing company or project delivery company. You’ll also have an appropriate bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical or Chemical Process (or similar)).

Some key attributes expected :

• At least 10 years of relevant and proven dairy or food related engineering / construction experience
• Have worked previously within a multi-disciplined project delivery company (or similar)
• Oversight / management of consultants, equipment suppliers and contractors
• Oversight and assurance that project execution plan and policies are followed
• Project documentation and handover documentation skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Proven leadership skills
• Strong commercial acumen
• Strong English communication skills both written and verbal
