Job descriptionWork in collaboration with the Division Manager on various tasks. Prepare product prototypes and carry out pilot laboratory tests. Work technically with customers. (Specific customers) Enter formulas into the computer system and make changes where necessary. Participate in the development of ingredient blends for the food industry, mainly meat products. Carry out tests required for product development. Draw up ingredient lists for each new product developed and ensure that they comply with current regulations. Master the computer system. Prepare and write test reports. Participate in the evaluation of new ingredients and suppliers. Ensure conformity of samples sent to customers. Ensure the quality of work carried out in the department. Check formulas and ingredient lists for experimental products. Assist quality control (during production supervision). Ensure compliance with regulations and customer requirements during product development. Ensure compliance with recipes when weighing samples developed in accordance with regulations and customer requirements. Circulate regulatory and registration information in our centralized file (regulatory watch). Respect SQF food standards and procedures at all times. BAC / DEC in Process and Food Quality Technology or other related discipline Knowledge of ingredients and meat processing is an asset Minimum 5 years' experience in the food industry and product development is an asset Bilingualism Good knowledge of Word, Excel and PowerPoint
