Reporting to the VP Business Development, Purchasing and Legal Affairs, the Paralegal assumes various administrative responsibilities and participates in the drafting of various correspondence and contracts.
Some of the tasks
- Prepare various corporate documents, keep the corporate books of the various companies up to date;
- Draft, edit, review and update various legal documents (franchise agreements, confidentiality agreements, commercial contracts, letters, reports, etc.);
- Follow up on tasks related to files (compliance with deadlines and various legal deadlines);
- Manage and track renewals, transfers and leases;
- Manage and maintain the company's database of contracts and legal documents;
- Maintain the trademark portfolio;
- Search various public registers (REQ, RDPRM, land registry, etc.);
- Provide administrative and legal support in various files;
- Other related tasks.
Essential
- College diploma in legal technique;
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience;
- Good knowledge of corporate, business and real estate law;
- Excellent command of English and French, both oral and written;
- Proficient in Microsoft 365 suite software;
- Knowledge of the restaurant and / or franchise industry (asset);
