What is the Opportunity

Aecon is under contract with Ontario Power Generation (OPG) to carry out the Turbine Generator Refurbishment at the Pickering Nuclear Generating Station. What Youll Do Here :

Participate in review and execution of the Construction Inspection and Test Plans

Perform quality inspection in accordance with the related codes and customer specifications.

Inspections shall include but not be limited to :

Dimensional inspections

Visual electrical inspecting

General Inspections Torquing FME etc

Receiving inspecting

Positive material identification

Review of Certified Material Test Reports as required

Complete all associated documentation and forms for individual inspections

Participate in the development and maintenance of a cost of quality tracking system

Tracking of non-conformance reports and corrective / preventative action requests

What You Bring To The Team :

Graduate secondary school education in welding technology QA / QC or a related discipline at the University or College level

Electrical Red Seal (preferred)

Good communication and organizational skills

Computer literate in MS Office

Previous experience in receiving inspections and controls within a Nuclear Qualified Warehouse and Clean Room would be considered an asset

Pay Range : $40-50 per hour

Individual pay isdeterminedbased on several factors including work location education experience uniqueskillsand job conditions. Other considerations may include certifications specialized training and the complexity or scope of the role.
