Job descriptionSUMMARY: We are seeking an experienced ERP Project Manager to lead a large-scale ERP implementation for a municipal client. This role will oversee the full project lifecycle, from planning through execution and stabilization to ensuring successful delivery aligned with organizational goals. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to a high-impact municipal transformation initiative while working closely with cross-functional stakeholders in a collaborative environment. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: - Lead an end-to-end ERP implementation, including planning, execution, monitoring, and project closeout - Develop and manage project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation - Provide change management support, including stakeholder engagement, communications, and training coordination - Collaborate with business units to gather, document, and validate requirements - Support business analysis and technical business analysis activities as needed - Identify and manage risks, issues, and dependencies throughout the project lifecycle - Coordinate with vendors, consultants, and internal teams to ensure alignment and delivery - Establish governance structures and provide regular status reporting to leadership - Ensure adherence to municipal policies, standards, and regulatory requirements - Perform additional duties as required to support project success SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE: - Proven experience as a Project Manager leading ERP or large corporate software implementations, within a public sector environment - Experience in a Municipal environment is mandatory - Strong understanding of ERP systems, implementation methodologies, and best practices - Experience with change management principles and execution - Financial or Accounting background is an asset - Demonstrated ability to perform or support business analysis / technical BA functions - Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills - Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with both the business and technical teams. - Strong problem-solving and organizational abilities - PMP or equivalent certification considered an asset LOCATION AND TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: - Preference for candidates local to the region (Grande Prairie / Spirit River area) - Ability to work on-site at the client’s municipal office (approximately 1 hour 15 minutes from Grande Prairie) - Temporary housing in Spirit River may be provided for candidates open to relocation.
