The Desktop Delivery Project Manager is responsible for ensuring a smooth and positive user experience during software updates or deployments, and for preparing users for upcoming changes.
The advisor contributes to achieving delivery objectives within defined timelines. They analyze the feasibility and relevance of deliveries, define action plans and milestones, and coordinate collaborators. Their role includes functional supervision and coordination of contributors involved in application and technology delivery. They ensure the quality of deliverables, team performance, and team engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan deliverables related to application and technology streams, considering challenges, complexity, stakeholders, and alignment with other operational deliveries and initiatives
- Perform functional supervision and coordinate contributors involved in application and technology delivery
- Ensure team performance, quality control, and define standards, methods, and procedures within the project
- Coordinate all deliverables to meet business objectives and priorities while respecting agreements and timelines
- Ensure availability of the application layer within infrastructure platforms
- Conduct risk analysis, assess impacts, and define strategies to manage risks within the application and technology stream
- Manage, in collaboration with the requester, change requests, solution experimentation, and strategies related to the application stream
- Work closely with IT (VPTI) and business stakeholders
- Identify and escalate complex issues related to deliverables, aiming for “zero contact to CSTI for desktop services” and minimizing impacts on business and IT sectors
- Interact directly with users across all sectors (IT, Business, Branches, and Non-Branches)
