Class 3 Water Truck Driver

Key Information:

• Hours: Project dependent
• Schedule is 6/1
• Must be willing to work evenings and weekends.
• Hourly rate is dependent on experience.

Job Description:

• Operate water truck
• Reads gauges and meters to record and ensure proper amount of fuel is loaded and tracked.
• Perform daily vehicle inspection for all fluid levels on truck as well as inspect for leaks and damage to vehicle before operation.
• Responsible for daily maintenance of vehicle to remain in proper and safe working order.
• Responsible for notifying supervisor if vehicle needs to be repaired.
• Driver/Operator must be able to climb on and off heavy mobile equipment safely.
• Completing daily safety paperwork.
• Drive in all types of weather conditions.
• Checking and sampling on all components of machine, fueling equipment, maintain paperwork and truck upkeep.
• Work safely and in a timely fashion, staying in compliance with all company rules and regulations.

Experience and Certification Requirements:

• Must have a Class 3 driver's license.
• CSTS 2020, WHMIS 2015, and Ground Disturbance 201 are required.
• A valid driver's license with a clean driver's abstract is required and must be obtained no more than 30 days prior to employment start date.
• A safety conscious attitude.
• A reliable means of transportation is required.
• Proficient English language skills required.

Education: Completion of high school or equivalent is required.
