Job descriptionCollege degree or equivalent preferred Retail management or similar industry experience in a complex, high-volume or high-profile environment preferred Ability to communicate effectively with customers and store personnel Ability to operate register, stand, move and walk for multiple hours and lift up to 30 lbs Ability to work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends and possible overnight shifts and travel Proven track record of building and maintaining positive working relationships Business acumen with strong planning prioritization and time management skills
Summary
The Selling Manager is a member of the Store Management team responsible for executing strategic plans to ensure a profitable store. This role drives sales performance by coaching the sales team, executing daily and weekly business objectives, and championing new selling tools and technologies.
Responsibilities
- Support store management in analyzing business trends and executing store initiatives
- Communicate sales and profit performance tools to the store team
- Deliver a consistent customer experience by handling complaints and resolving service issues
- Lead community outreach and support client development strategies
- Participate in recruitment and interviewing to build and develop the store team
- Provide coaching and feedback to drive talent development
- Support team training initiatives and maintain store execution and inventory control
- Promote use of new technologies to enable New Ways of Selling and More Ways to Shop
- Ensure sales floor and store standards consistently exceed expectations
