Position Summary Technicut Tool (TCT) is seeking a CMM Programmer/Operator for our Windsor, Ontario location . If you are looking for an organization and career that will match your strong work ethic and passion for success, Technicut Tool is a great place to start! *This position works a schedule of Monday thru Friday from 7:00am - 3:30pm with overtime available on some Saturday's according to business demand* Essential Duties and Responsibilities Operates CMM machine and maintains CMM work instructions for the set-up and inspection of parts.
Performs all programming of the CMM Machine.
Drives process improvement by providing insight on programming changes and product calibration.
Analyzes and interprets blueprints, models, evaluation sheets, manuals, and other materials to determine specifications, inspection and testing procedures, adjustments, and certification methods.
Collects and analyzes inspection data and makes computations as necessary to determine inspection results and performs first article inspections.
Communicates information to all team members; Inspection results, part status, updates, and specific instructions, and participates in PFMEA activities. Other inspections as required.
Experience, Qualifications, and Skills Two-year associate degree or equivalent education and experience.
- 5+ years' experience running CMM machine(s) using Calypso software is required. Experience running DMIS software.
Competent with Microsoft Office and capable of using paperless systems.
Ability to conduct tests to ensure products and materials meet the established quality specification.
Adept at planning and developing standards, procedures, and best practices for ensuring product quality.
