Job Description

Position: General Help

Location: Cégep de Lanaudière à Terrebonne (2505 Boulevard des Entreprises, Terrebonne, QC J6X 5S5)

Salary: $17.00 per hour

Schedule / Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. (following the school calendar)

Two positions available:

• Temporary position to replace an employee on medical leave, for an indefinite period.
• Student position with a flexible schedule based on availability.

Start Date: Immediate

Job Responsibilities

• Welcome customers and provide excellent customer service.
• Operate the cash register.
• Perform general food preparation duties in the kitchen.
• Serve customers.
• Stock shelves and refrigerators.
• Rotate products in refrigerators to ensure freshness.
• Clean service areas.
• Assist with dishwashing duties.
• Follow all established safety regulations and procedures.
• Perform any other related duties as required.

Qualifications

• 1 to 2 years of experience in food service or the restaurant industry is an asset.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Positive attitude.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Customer service oriented

The successful candidate for this position will be required to complete and successfully pass a criminal background check and, where required by the operation, a Vulnerable Sector Check.
