Responsibilities -Shipment Coordination: Organize and monitor the movement of products via road (local/transborder), air, or sea. -Carrier Relations: Negotiate rates and schedule pickups with carriers, ensuring compliance with delivery windows. -Documentation & Compliance: Prepare and verify essential documents, including Bills of Lading (BOL), customs invoices (FOB, CIF, DDP), and packing slips. -Inventory Management: Track stock levels using ERP/TMS software to prevent shortages and minimize overstocks. -Issue Resolution: Act as the primary point of contact to resolve shipment delays, damages, or discrepancies with suppliers and carriers. -Collaboration: Work closely with the warehouse, production, and sales teams to align logistics schedules with business goals.
Qualifications -Education: College diploma (DEC) in Transportation Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. -Experience: 1–3 years of experience in logistics coordination or warehouse operations. -Technical Proficiency: Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and experience with Logistics Management Systems (LMS) or SAP. -Certifications: CCS (Certified Customs Specialist) or a Forklift License is considered a significant asset.
