Position Summary The Program Manager is responsible for managing ongoing client programs and ensuring that CellCarta delivers on time, within budget and in line with client expectations.
As such, the Program Manager interacts with clients, Management, as well as Scientific and Operational teams to lead programs to completion, drive project progress and manage project financial health.
Key Responsibilities Manage client projects and programs (multiple ongoing projects for the same client) from initiation to closure Ensure projects are delivered on time, within the budget and scope specified in contractual agreements Manage changes in project scope, timelines and budget Coordinate and engage internal resources for flawless project execution Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders, serving as the primary client contact Develop project/program plans, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring feasibility Track progress against project plans and set review meetings/dates to ensure projects remain on target Intervene to resolve issues and initiate appropriate corrective actions or interventions wherever gaps in projects or programs are identified Report and escalate to senior leadership as needed Qualifications MSc in life sciences At least 3-5 years of experience in a similar client-facing/project management role Effective leadership, interpersonal and communication skills Strong organizational skills Strong knowledge of techniques for planning and managing projects/programs in terms of scope, schedule and budget Excellent client management skills Sufficient seniority and credibility to advise and engage project teams to deliver as per contractual obligations Ability to find ways of solving or pre-empting problems Strong proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Proficiency in French and English, both spoken and written; the incumbent will be required to interact with clients and colleagues outside Quebec, as well as read and draft documentation in English, as required by industry regulations Work Arrangements Full-time position (37.5 hours per week), Monday to Friday during regular daytime business hours, with a hybrid work arrangement requiring 1 day per week onsite Location: 3650 St-Urbain Street, Montreal, QC, Canada, H2X 2P2 Benefits Competitive salary Comprehensive Group Insurance Plans Telemedicine service and Employee Assistance Program (EAP) RRSP contribution with employer matching Vacation and personal days Partial parking reimbursement and discount on monthly STM pass Employee Annual Incentive Plan (EAIP) Volunteer Time-Off Program Onsite gym Career development opportunities About CellCarta CellCarta is a global CRO that provides muti-omic pharma laboratory services though a harmonized global footprint and integrated logistics, spanning translational research through late phase clinical trials.
