Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated Engineering Intern to support the Quality department for our ReliaGear product line. This role will focus on documentation control and continuous improvement initiatives, contributing to the reliability, compliance, and efficiency of our quality processes.

This internship provides hands-on exposure to a dynamic manufacturing environment and offers the opportunity to work on impactful projects aligned with operational excellence.

  • Ensure document compliance with internal standards and regulatory requirements
  • Support implementation and maintenance of document control systems
  • Track revisions and manage version control to ensure accuracy and traceability
  • Contribute to ongoing continuous improvement initiatives within the ReliaGear line

  • Participate in process optimization and efficiency improvement efforts
  • Assist in developing and documenting new best practices
  • Assist in executing or documenting testing procedures
  • Support data collection, analysis, and reporting of test results
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve product quality

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related field)
  • Strong interest in quality, manufacturing, and process improvement
  • Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma – an asset)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Power BI, Power Apps) and AI tools
  • Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
