JOIN OUR TEAM POSITION: Part-Time Homemaker – Independent Contractor Area: Kitchener - Cambridge - North Dumfries (and Surrounding Area) Salary: $24.00 per Hour (Rate Effective April 1/26 -- may be eligible for $26.00 per Hour) Do you want to go into business for yourself? Community Support Connections is currently recruiting Independent Contractors for its Homemaking Program to provide assistance with light housekeeping, laundry and minor meal preparation only. Our Homemakers do not provide any personal hygiene care at all – no client lifting, bathing, dressing or biohazard cleaning whatsoever .

This position is part-time with flexible hours.
Clients pay a per-hour set fee (2 hour booking minimum) for the service, directly to the Homemaker. Suitable candidates must have: Exceptional cleaning skills Excellent communication skills Some experience with older adults and/or persons with disabilities Access to a reliable vehicle Successful candidates must provide a recent Vulnerable Sector Police Check (VSPC) and 3 Personal References (excluding family members) before they can join our Independent Contractor Team.
