Scope of the Position

This role is based in a fast-paced moulding facility and is a union position. The successful candidate will work well in a team environment and possess strong problem-solving skills. We seek motivated, self-starting individuals capable of managing multiple tasks daily, with excellent organization, communication, and time management skills. This is an afternoon shift, from 3 : 00 pm to 11 : 00 pm.

Responsibilities

• Perform troubleshooting, improvements, preventive maintenance, repairs, and modifications on moulds and auxiliary equipment.
• Read and verify all critical information on work orders and drawings.
• Operate lathe, milling machine, surface grinder, welding equipment, and radial drilling machine independently.
• Assemble and maintain hot runner systems.
• Ensure all tools and fixtures are available at the workplace for proper maintenance.
• Design and manufacture End of Arms Tools.
• Maintain knowledge of robots, injection moulding machines, and their auxiliary equipment.
• Perform repairs on textured surfaces.
