Job description
Registered Pharmacy Technician - FT Permanent - Burlington area - Healthcare

Are you a Registered Pharmacy Technician looking for your next opportunity? Whether you’re almost licensed (within 1-2 months), newly licensed or bring years of experience, we want to hear from you!

We are actively recruiting for passionate and dedicated pharmacy technicians who are either seeking a career in the Burlington area who are keen on working in a specialty pharmacy setting (non-retail) and keen on long-term career growth!

Expecting your license soon? Apply today - we can certainly consider your application!

Advantages
Registered Pharmacy Technician - FT Permanent - Burlington area - Healthcare

Compensation Discussions: We’re open to hearing your expectations and ensuring your needs and expectations are considered. Posted rate is our estimate only of base salary and annual bonus potential - hiring teams make the final decision relating to compensation offers as these are direct-hire, permanent roles.

Immediate Openings: Start dates available right away for qualified candidates. Future opportunities will also be aligned to your expertise if you choose to apply proactively.

Professional Growth: Exposure to different practice settings that help broaden your career experience.

Commitment to Care: Work with a pharmacy that values patient service, safety, and teamwork.

Responsibilities
Registered Pharmacy Technician - FT Permanent - Burlington area - Healthcare

Prescription verification requiring strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety. Supporting billing and adjudication of prescriptions using Kroll and working alongside pharmacy assistants and pharmacists to complete administrative/computer work - lots of variety in this role! :)

General dispensing/verification technicians would not work in the cleanroom. That said, this is a setting that does have cleanroom compounding occuring on-site - if you are keen to learn sterile compounding as you continue to learn and grow, there the possibility for that here over time. To start, the role is not focused on compounding, however.

Communication with internal and external parties to support patient safety and care.

Acting with professionalism and reliability in all aspects of pharmacy practice.

Qualifications

Must hold an active license as a Registered Pharmacy Technician with the Ontario College of Pharmacists (OCP) - registered technician interns are welcome to apply to this posting.

Availability for full-time on-site pharmacy work 5 days per week

Open to candidates of all experience levels; from newly licensed to seasoned professionals.
