Job description

The Seasonal Packaging Assembler supports high-volume assembly and packaging operations, ensuring seasonal kits are produced safely, accurately, and efficiently. Responsibilities include preparing production lines, assembling components, and moving completed kits while following established food safety and quality standards, including Organic, HACCP, and SQF requirements. This role is key to helping the team meet seasonal customer demand while maintaining high standards for quality, accuracy, and productivity.


DAY: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM (40 hours per week)

From September 22, 2026 to November 15, 2026


Responsibilities:

  • Following the directions of the Project Lead responsible for the assembly project/ line.
  • Ensure HACCP and SQF programs are implemented, maintained, and updated
  • Filling different vessels (bags, tins, etc.) with the correct amount of tea.
  • Using sealing machine to seal bags.
  • Assembly of various components such as tins, bags, labels, tamper seals, inserts, folding cartons, rigid boxes, etc.
  • Regular quality checks required to ensure the established quality standards are maintained, eg. correct components are used for the assigned task.
  • Placing completed gift packs in corrugated boxes.
  • Arranging corrugated boxes on shipping pallets.
  • Following all rules, instructions and department procedures, asking whenever not sure.
  • Complete other duties or responsibilities as assigned by immediate supervisor.
  • Working in the fulfillment area, including picking and preparing orders, as needed


Requirements:

  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks
  • Able to read and follow instructions and labels in French or English
  • Positive, team-oriented attitude with a willingness to learn and accept feedback
  • Adaptable and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and initiative to solve problems
  • Previous assembly experience in a food-grade environment is an asset
  • Comfortable working with various ingredients and allergens, including dairy, soy, tree nuts, sulfites, and others
