We are Ben and Heather, a warm and easy-going family living in Brooks, Alberta, looking for a caring and reliable nanny to help us with our two young children. We are open to either full-time or part-time hours for most of the year and can accommodate both live-in or live-out arrangements depending on what works best.
About the role :
Your primary responsibilities will include caring for our infant and toddler, preparing meals, engaging them in age-appropriate activities, supporting developmental milestones, light tidying related to the children, and helping maintain a calm, nurturing routine. We are hoping to find someone who genuinely enjoys young kids, is attentive, patient, and brings positive energy into our home. We are a screen-free household for the kids, so we are hoping for someone who enjoys hands-on play, reading, crafts, outdoor time, and interactive activities.
Seasonal needs (important) :
From mid-August through mid-November, our schedule becomes very busy. During this period, we require full-time support, Monday through Friday. This is the only time of year where full-time hours are guaranteed and consistent. Outside of this period, the schedule can shift back to part-time or flexible hours based on your preference.
Who we are looking for :
Experience with infants and toddlers
CPR / First Aid is an asset (or willingness to obtain)
Responsible, trustworthy, and kind
Comfortable with a flexible schedule outside of the fall season
Able to assist with light housekeeping and children’s laundry
Bonus : open to occasional evening or weekend help
Schedule and flexibility :
Full-time (5 days per week) required mid-August to mid-November
Outside of that : part-time, full-time, or flexible hours depending on what works for both sides
Start date :
We are looking to hire as soon as we find the right fit, but we can be flexible with timing for the ideal candidate.
