Role Description

• MEDYᴹᴰ Health & Wellness is seeking a dedicated General Practitioner to join our growing medical team in Vancouver, BC. This role can be structured as full‑time or part‑time , with a generous split or a hybrid model combining traditional family practice with preventative / functional medicine , depending on the candidate’s interests.

The ideal physician is passionate about patient‑centered care and interested in supporting individuals beyond symptom management—focusing instead on prevention, root‑cause investigation, and optimizing long‑term health.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high‑quality longitudinal care to patients within a well‑supported clinic environment.
• Conduct comprehensive medical and preventative assessments, including review of advanced diagnostic testing.
• Diagnose and treat a wide range of medical concerns within the scope of family practice.
• Develop personalized care plans that incorporate both conventional and preventative approaches.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including MDs, RNs, NPs, and functional medicine specialists.
• Maintain accurate and organized electronic medical records.
• Educate patients on preventative strategies and lifestyle‑based interventions to support improved health outcomes.
• Participate in clinical case reviews and ongoing program development as RMEDY expands its preventative health offerings.

Qualifications

• Medical degree and full licensure to practice medicine in British Columbia .
• Experience in—or strong interest in—preventative health, functional medicine, integrative medicine, or longevity‑focused care.
• Ability to perform thorough assessments and create comprehensive treatment plans.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on patient experience.
• Comfortable working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary clinical team.
• Experience with or willingness to learn advanced diagnostic modalities (e.g., cardiac stress testing, ultrasounds, specialty lab panels, genomics).
• Commitment to continuous learning and staying current with emerging medical research and preventative health strategies.
