Job description

Responsibilities

Respond quickly and effectively to mechanical, hydraulic, or pneumatic breakdowns to minimize downtime
Perform preventive maintenance on equipment as per the schedule in the EAM system and complete all work orders using a computer
Install, modify, or optimize industrial equipment based on operational needs
Actively contribute to the continuous improvement of existing systems
Keep technical documentation up to date (work orders, drawings, procedures, etc.)
Be available for on-call service and respond outside of regular hours if necessary
Strictly follow safety rules and quality/food safety policies (SQF standards)
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment

Job Requirements

Ability to read and interpret mechanical and pneumatic plans (standard and ISO)
Knowledge of SQF, HACCP, lockout/tagout, and ARC FLASH standards
Proficiency in French (spoken and written) is required; English is an asset
Strong interpersonal skills, sense of priorities, autonomy, precision, and teamwork
Familiarity with MS Office and maintenance software (asset)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Qualifications

Millwright Certificate
Minimum of 4 years’ experience in a similar role
Experience in automation / robotics (asset)
