Your work environment at EXP
In this role, you will be a part of the Mining Team, based in St. Johns, NL, Brampton, Sudbury, or North Bay, ON.
What a day at EXP has in store for you
Knowledgeable in the design of mining systems
Design and layout of mechanical and process equipment, including conveyors, hoists, and related systems using 2D and 3D tools
Design and layout of piping systems for both surface and underground infrastructure
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams
Mining or construction field experience preferred
Experience in the engineering, consulting, or mining industry considered an asset
What your experience looks like
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited University
Minimum of 1 year of relevant engineering experience; EIT designation preferred
Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
Proven ability to stay organized, manage multiple priorities, and maintain a high level of accuracy
Demonstrated customer‑focused approach in all interactions
Valid driver’s license and reliable access to a vehicle
This job posting is for an existing position vacancy within our organization.
The salary range for this role is between $61K - $82K. The actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location.
