The Mechanical Designer will work hand in hand with other team members, under the guidance and supervision of the Mechanical Engineering Manager. Your Role Responsibilities:
- Ensure the proper execution of mechanical related projects under supervision of the supervisor.
- Develop drawings, preliminary layouts, and sketches utilizing computer-assisted design/drafting programs. Set up drawing and work with internal and external designer and drafters.
- Review projects with supervisor and distribute to team resources.
- Perform construction administration tasks.
- Survey and evaluate existing systems at job sites.
- Attend client meetings and contribute to discussions.Share project objectives with team.
- Be responsible for the quality of deliverables, costs, schedules, and project efficiencies.
- Develop relationships with clients, meet expectations, and ensure their satisfaction.
- Participate in business development, as required.
- Build relationships with external clients and meet company growth objectives.
- Ensure the proper execution of mechanical related projects under supervision of the supervisor.

What Youll Bring To TCG:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of direct industry experience in the field of mechanical building services. Retrofit experience is preferred.
- Diploma / Degree from a mechanical building services technical program or an engineering program.
- Strong leadership qualities and mentorship skills.
- Good working knowledge of HVAC, Plumbing and Fire Protection Systems.
- Knowledge and understanding of the National Building Code of Canada and the Ontario Building Code.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a drive and ability to collaborate and problem solve as part of a team.
- Ability to utilize both verbal and written forms of communication to effectively communicate internally with colleagues as well as externally with clients.
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects working in a fast-paced environment to meet project deadlines
- Must be proficient in AutoCAD and MS Office Applications.
- Highly motivated self-starter with an attention to detail is a must.
