This posting is for an existing opening.

*Responsibilities: Operate and set up various manual and computer programmed machines. Operate equipment according to established procedures. Troubleshoot minor problems with fixtures or tooling. Change tools, inserts and adjust offsets as required to maintain tolerances. Check own parts against blue print drawings in various stages of production. Identify irregularities in parts and non conformance to quality standards.

Qualifications:

*Qualifications: Machinist Certificate of Qualification is required. 3+ years' work experience in a machine shop environment with large horizontal and/or vertical mills. Heidenhain CNC control experience is an asset. Ability to interpret blue print drawings and accurately read various measuring tools. Understanding of machinery and equipment and material tolerances.

Rotating shifts.
