Job description

ADVANCE YOUR CAREER. ADVANCE THE WORLD.

At AMD, we believe technology has the power to solve the world’s most important challenges. From advancing healthcare and scientific discovery to powering AI and the technologies people rely on every day, innovation at AMD is shaping the future.

Whether you’re designing next-gen processors, enabling AI breakthroughs, or bringing leading edge products to market, every role at AMD contributes to something bigger — technology that moves the world forward. Join us and, together, we’ll advance your career.

THE ROLE:

Interested in semiconductors, AI, and the future of technology? We are a leading firm that designs the heart of these technologies, driving innovations in AI acceleration, graphics rendering, and the compute that drives the world.

As a Technical Marketing Specialist, you’ll spend your time working in a high-paced environment, side‑by‑side with senior marketers and engineers on product‑critical projects on the bleeding edge. You’ll gain hands‑on experience developing product demos, CPU/GPU optimization, and AI workflows—all while contributing to real products delivered to customers worldwide.

THE PERSON:

  • Will demonstrate a creative mindset through storytelling, messaging, and market positioning initiatives.
  • Will explore and apply knowledge of AI, technology, innovation, and product strategy to support marketing efforts.
  • Will manage multiple priorities and execute tasks independently in a fast-paced environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Research emerging AI techniques
  • Look into the latest AI technologies, and develop proof‑of‑concepts for inclusion into demo pipeline
  • Develop & maintain Python‑based AI pipelines
  • Develop custom code to support demo capabilities and validate performance
  • Demo development
  • Build quick, interactive prototypes to showcase new AI/graphics capabilities to stakeholders, customers, and at industry events
  • Develop, harden and automate demo scripting and documentation to maximize impact and reach
  • Use case development
  • Work with sales, marketing, and product teams to translate new technologies and demo ideas into concrete persona-based feature and validation plans
  • Document code, design decisions, test plans and test results
  • Strong documentation to ensure best alignment across teams and compliance with internal engineering & marketing standards.
  • Project & Team Collaboration
  • Participate in team meetings, brainstorms, and cross-functional projects.
  • Work with technical marketing, engineering, product management, corporate marketing, and sales teams to align messaging and execution.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Must have experience with Python and relevant libraries/frameworks such as NumPy, Pandas, PyTorch, or TensorFlow.
  • Must have excellent C/C++ and at least one GPU programming framework, such as ROCm, CUDA, or OpenCL.
  • Must have experience using version control systems (e.g., Git) and understanding of Linux system administration.
  • Must demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and the ability to synthesize research into clear, actionable insights.

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering
