This role could be your next career move if you thrive working under tight deadlines with minimal supervision and are a self-driven and organized accounting professional seeking an Accountant position. The Accountant is in charge of reviewing their clients financial statements, accounts receivable, accounts payable, reconciliation, and month-end closing and preparing T2 corporate tax returns. Moreover, as the Accountant you prepare HST / GST and light journal entries or general ledger reconciliation. Located in Richmond Hill, Ontario, this Accountant role will be a permanent opening and a hybrid position. Apply today!
Key responsibilities
- Ready monthly reconciliations, financial statements and all supporting documents
- Sort sales tax records and create and file quarterly payments
- Keep a check on Accounts Payable
- Review of all supporting reports and reconciliation
- Review monthly accounting close
- Review of general ledger
- Review monthly accounting close
- prepare corporate T2 tax forms and US Tax
- Secondary assignment when necessary
