At Nature's Touch, growth opportunities are everywhere!The opportunityReporting to the QA Manager, the Quality Assurance Technician is responsible for ensuring the production operations are conducted in accordance with food safety rules and are compliant with the quality standards for processes and products.ResponsibilitiesPerform quality testing of food productsSample finish goods when requiredRecord the sampling detailsCommunicate with third-party warehousesRaw material approval and allocationDocument and record results as instructedPerform GMP inspections in the production roomPerform weekly environmental swabsFinish product releaseConduct training for new hiresOther duties as assigned in accordance with operational needsQualifications & SkillsOne (1) to three (3) years experience as a Quality Assurance TechnicianPrior experience in a food manufacturing environment.Diploma of College Studies (D.E.C.) in Science or other related field (an asset)Knowledge of micro lab (an asset)Knowledge with Microsoft OfficeAbility to lift up to 20 lbsAbility to work in a cold environmentAbility to work in a team environmentAbility to work in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment
