Job description
Job Description

As an IT Business Analyst, you will be embedded within FLINT’s business operations, working across multiple business units to understand processes, identify pain points, and translate stakeholder needs into technology-enabled solutions. This role goes beyond traditional business analysis—you will actively contribute to solution design and delivery using AI tools, rapid prototyping, and low-code platforms. You will partner closely with stakeholders to challenge assumptions, uncover root problems, and help build practical, adoptable solutions that drive real business value

What would you be doing?

  • Partner with business units to analyze workflows, gather requirements, and identify process improvement and automation opportunities.
  • Map current and future state processes, translating business needs into clear, actionable requirements for technical teams.
  • Support solution delivery by collaborating with technology teams to scope, prototype, test, and validate solutions.
  • Participate in hands-on solution building using low-code/no-code and AI-assisted tools, including user acceptance testing and documentation.
  • Contribute to enterprise initiatives by supporting prioritization, ROI development, and continuous improvement efforts.
  • Continuously build knowledge of internal systems, AI tools, and business functions to drive innovation and adoption.

Perks of the job

  • Enhance your leadership and communication skills with the opportunity to lead and collaborate with various professionals, from Executives to front-line workers.
  • Competitive Compensation.
  • RRSP Matching.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience) with 1–3 years in business analysis, consulting, or process improvement.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to translate between business needs and technical requirements.
  • Experience with process mapping, requirements gathering, and working with stakeholders across multiple levels.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365; exposure to Power Platform, AI tools, data visualization, or low-code platforms is an asset.
  • Curious, adaptable, and solutions-focused mindset with a strong interest in technology, continuous improvement, and learning new tools.

Additional Information

Offers of employment are conditional on the successful outcome of a criminal background check.

Candidates shortlisted will be required to complete the Profile TRAITS Survey.
