About this role

Our mobile apps are crucial to our vision : Empowering entrepreneurs to chase their dreams. We want to empower entrepreneurs to run their business from their pocket through a world class mobile app.

We care about stunning design, great UX, and good engineering practices we love to write software that is secure, tested, easy to maintain, responsive, and performant. We build minimum viable products, deploy to production weekly, A / B test customer‑facing changes, listen to the data, and iterate.

Senior iOS Engineer

We are looking for a Senior Engineer to join and lead mobile efforts on our Discovery team , which powers and iterates on critical business surfaces like our Search, Brand, Product and Cart screens.

Responsibilities

• Ship delightful and impactful experiences to our customers, enabling them to buy more effectively and efficiently
• Improve app performance through deep investigation and working with engineers across our tech stack
• Contribute to the foundations for infrastructure, developer velocity, team processes, design systems and other elements of the product development process with a long‑term perspective.
• Coach and mentor mobile engineers in a fast paced & hyper growth environment.
• Raise the bar on the quality of our mobile apps through implementation of testing strategies and upleveling execution.

Salary range

Canada : the pay range for this role is $156,000 - $214,500 per year.

This role will also be eligible for equity and benefits. Actual base pay will be determined based on permissible factors such as transferable skills, work experience, market demands, and primary work location. The base pay range provided is subject to change and may be modified in the future.

Hybrid Faire employees currently go into the office 2 days per week on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Effective starting in January 2026, employees will be expected to go into the office on a third flex day of their choosing (Monday, Wednesday, or Friday). Additionally, hybrid in‑office roles will have the flexibility to work remotely up to 4 weeks per year. Specific Workplace and Information Technology positions may require onsite attendance 5 days per week as will be indicated in the job posting.
