Job description

Reporting to the Director of Parts, the Parts Manager will be responsible for the day to day operation of the TRP Store West Saint John including but not limited to:

  • Maintain appropriate inventory levels to meet customer needs and optimize inventory turns.
  • Oversee shipping and receiving.
  • Evaluate and recommend parts required based on customer information.
  • Generate sales leads by calling and onsite visits
  • Oversee and perform inventory cycle counts to maintain accuracy.
  • Generate quotes and complete orders as per customer requests.
  • Explain warranty coverage to customers and assist with warranty claims.
  • Follow all policies and procedures as outlined by management and maintain a professional, safe, work place.


Qualifications that a candidate MUST possess in order to gain consideration for this position:

  • Previous experience in the Medium / Heavy Duty truck, automotive industry.
  • High degree of product and technical knowledge.
  • A team player with a strong sense of commitment to the customer.
  • Self-starter and motivated to sell.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to handle competing priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Available to work Saturday mornings on a shared rotation.
  • Ability to use Microsoft programs and applications
