DU POSTE

Le specialiste de la gestion des stocks par le fournisseur (VMI) fournit un soutien supplmentaire dans les domaines de la conversion, de la commande de stocks, des solutions de distributrices automatiques, du rangement des commandes, de la gestion de type 5S de service et dquipement, et de l'expédition.

TCHES et RESPONSABILITÉS

  • Soutient les conseillers?la vente et les solutions clients de MSC. Comprend les solutions, les produits et les services de l'entreprise. Y compris une connaissance limite des produits techniques.
  • Soutient la mise en uvre des programmes de gestion des stocks par les fournisseurs dans les tablissements des clients.
  • Tablit des relations professionnelles et productives avec le personnel cl?des clients assign's.
  • Maintient des niveaux levs de satisfaction de la clientle qui respectent les standards de lentreprise.
  • Dballe les commandes, vrifie l'exactitude de l'expedition et range les stocks chez les clients.
  • Assure des niveaux de stocks appropri's pour les clients, gnre de nouvelles commandes de marchandise et obtient l'approbation du client pour passer des commandes au besoin.
  • Communique et fournit de la rtroaction au reprsentant des ventes et au superviseur, au besoin, pour assurer la pleine satisfaction de la clientle.
  • Effectue le entretien gnral (5S) de lquipement de service et de la zone immdiate.
  • Utilise la technologie de lentreprise pour accomplir les tches quotidiennes, gnrer des commandes, en faire le suivi et les acheminer.
  • Consigne tous les vnements quotidiennement dans loutil de gestion des services.
  • Participe des projets spciaux et effectue des tches supplmentaires au besoin.
  • Favorise la culture de MSC dans le dpartement et dans l'ensemble de lentreprise afin d'assurer la ralisation de la vision de MSC.

    • FORMATION et EXPERIENCE

  • Diplme dtudes secondaires ou quivalent requis.
  • Exprience en amlioration de la chane dapprovisionnement et des processus, un atout.
  • Exprience en service?la clientle, y compris un an dexprience dans un secteur connexe, un atout.

    • COMPTENCES

  • Connaissances en informatique et matrise des logiciels de traitement de texte et de tableur requis.
  • Excellentes aptitudes pour la communication orale et crite.

    • AUTRES EXIGENCES

  • Un permis de conduire valide est requis.
  • Le poste exige plus de 80 % de dplacements quotidiens constants intrieur du territoire dsign.? Voyages daffaires occasionnels requis.

    • BRIEF POSITION SUMMARY

    The Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) Specialist provides supplemental service support in the areas of conversions, ordering stock, vending solutions, putting orders away, 5S handling of service & equipment, and expediting.

    DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Supports MSC customer solutions and sales associates.
  • Understands company solutions, products, and services. Including limited technical product knowledge.
  • Supports the implementation of Vendor Managed Inventory programs at customer locations.
  • Establish productive, professional relationships with key personnel in assigned customers.
  • Maintain high customer satisfaction ratings that meet company standards.
  • Unpack orders, checks accuracy of shipment and put stock away at customer locations.
  • Ensure appropriate customer stock levels, generates new orders for merchandise, and obtains customer approval to place orders when required.
  • Provides communication and feedback to the sales representative and supervisor as appropriate to ensure full customer satisfaction.
  • Performs general (5S) housekeeping for service equipment and immediate area.
  • Utilize company technology to completed daily tasks, order generation, tracking, and routing.
  • Logs all events daily within the Service Management tool.
  • Participates in special projects and performs additional duties as required.
  • Fosters the MSC Culture in the department and throughout the company to ensure fulfillment of MSC's mission.

    • EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE

  • A High School Diploma or the equivalent is required.
  • Supply chain and process improvement experience preferred.
  • Customer service experience including one year of related industry experience is preferred.

    • SKILLS

  • Computer literacy and proficiency in word-processing and spreadsheet software is required.
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills are also required.

    • OTHER REQUIREMENTS

  • A valid driver's license is required.
  • Position requires over 80% consistent daily travel within district. Occasional overnight travel is also required.
  • May need to lift up to 50 lbs. based on customer needs.

    • Compensation starting at $48000 - $54000 depending on experience. Plus Bonus and Company Car / Gas Card.

    The salary range represented is based on similar roles in comparable industries, and the cost of labor in respective cities. Actual compensation is based on the candidate’s relevant experience, education requirements and peer pay equity. The Company reserves the right to modify the range as market conditions change.
