Job Description :
Parsons is seeking a talented HR / Government Relations Manager to join our team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in ensuring compliance with KSA labor laws, managing government relations, and overseeing HR operations.
This position requires deep knowledge of local regulations, strong leadership, and the ability to drive HR initiatives aligned with organizational goals. The successful candidate will be a strategic partner fostering a compliant, effective, and harmonious work environment.
What You'll Be Doing :
- Serve as the primary liaison between the organization and government authorities, ensuring compliance with all KSA labor laws and regulations.
- Manage and maintain all governmental approvals, permits, licenses, and registrations required for the business.
- Ensure smooth processing of visas and work permits for employees, including Saudization-related matters.
- Stay updated on changes in local labor laws and regulations, providing recommendations for policy adaptations.
- Handle government-related disputes and ensure their resolution according to applicable regulations.
- Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with organizational goals.
- Lead talent acquisition, performance management, employee development, and retention strategies.
- Foster a culture of inclusion, diversity, and employee engagement.
- Manage employee relations by addressing concerns, disputes, and complaints to maintain harmony.
- Ensure compliance with all HR-related regulations, including labor law, compensation, benefits, and safety standards.
- Maintain accurate records for HR-related government submissions and reporting.
- Monitor Saudization compliance and develop strategies to enhance local workforce engagement.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure compliance with government contracts and regulations.
- Act as the main contact for employees on HR issues, concerns, and inquiries.
- Mediate conflicts and foster positive relationships between management and staff.
- Develop communication strategies to promote transparency and clarity in employee relations.
- Oversee recruitment processes to attract and retain top talent.
- Work with hiring managers to ensure recruitment practices comply with local regulations.
- Manage talent pipeline strategies to ensure qualified candidates are available across units.
- Design and implement training programs to enhance employee skills and competencies.
- Focus on leadership development, employee empowerment, and succession planning.
- Evaluate training effectiveness and implement improvements.
- Oversee compensation and benefits programs, ensuring they are competitive and compliant.
- Develop equitable and transparent employee compensation systems.
- Coordinate with senior leadership to align compensation strategies with organizational goals.
- Review and update HR policies in line with legislative changes and company priorities.
- Ensure employees are aware of and adhere to company policies.
- Maintain a comprehensive employee handbook outlining policies, benefits, and expectations.
- Prepare HR reports for senior leadership, providing insights into HR metrics, performance, and compliance.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders regarding government relations and HR compliance issues.
