Position DescriptionChurch Background : Mississauga Christ Life Community Church (MCLCC) - a Chinese based church, was formed on July with English ministry (EM) in Mississauga Ontario Canada.
MCLCC is evangelical bases, believe in Bible and Jesus Christ is our LORD and savior. EM has about 30 congregation vs congregation in Chinese Ministry.
The EM currently has one adult small group, a youth fellowship and youth Sunday school. We are looking for a passionate God's servant with strong Youth ministry skill to develop the English ministry.
Qualifications : Meets character requirements of a biblical elder (1 Tim. 3 : 1-7; Titus 1 : 6-9; 1 Peter 5 : 1-5)Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Biblical and / or Pastoral studies from an accredited university or seminaryMinimum 2 years of English ministry experience in churchDemonstrated spiritual gifts of pastoring, shepherding and evangelism as found in Ephesians 4 : 11-13Preferably able to communicate in mandarinHas strong relational and counselling skillsDemonstrates proficient leadership in youth ministryProvide three external referencesSupply validated police check recordPrimary Responsibilities : Occasional pulpit sermons, preaching and teachingSupports worship setupSupports youth ministrySupports relationship building among English congregation and members of all agesSupports evangelistic outreach to our community
