- Supervise professional and support staff and students
- Provide on-going professional development, training and consultative services to teachers
- Prepare, present and manage budgets
- Ensure compliance with government regulations
- Collect and analyze data and samples
- Provide assistance to students with special needs
- Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with co-workers and community service providers working with children
