We're looking for an organized, reliable and nurturing nanny for our 5-year-old daughter in downtown Cobourg. Schedule and compensation (approx. 20-30 hours per week) Monday 12:00pm–5:00pm Tuesday and Thursday 12:00pm–6:00pm Plus a morning block on Wednesday or Friday; day and hours flexible to suit the right person. Some full day PA days or filling in for other part time nanny. Some flexibility on exact hours and occasional extra days. Occasional evenings and weekends. $24–$28/hour depending on experience 10 paid vacation days and 10 paid sick days Start date: flexible The role Midday: light housework including laundry, tidying and organizing School pickup and afternoon care Preparing her dinner and packing her school lunches Occasional errands and grocery shopping Driving to and from activities and appointments, using the family vehicle. Who we're looking for Hands-on experience with children this age Professional, dependable and highly organized, with excellent time management. You'll be running a busy schedule and keeping a household on track. Valid G licence and clean driving record; confident, comfortable driver Warm but firm, with developmentally appropriate expectations and consistent boundaries Patient and attuned to children who can be nervous in certain stations Comfortable preparing simple, balanced meals for a young child Takes initiative, anticipates what's needed, and communicates clearly Non-smoking; references required About her She's a curious, thoughtful and bright little girl, often described as a delight to have in a class or activity.
