Within the iA Advanced Case Solutions program, you will have the opportunity to contribute to a specialized service dedicated to advisors whose clients require complex strategies related to sales concepts, tax optimization, and the integration of individual insurance and savings products.
What you’ll accomplish with us
As a Financial Planner , you will be at the heart of our mission. Here are your main responsibilities :
- Actively contribute to the development and continuous improvement of the Advanced Financial and Tax Solutions department.
- Develop new financial and tax planning tools and calculators used by the team and advisors, and keep them up to date.
- Analyze, draft, and present recommendations on various advanced financial planning topics for iA Financial Group’s high‑net‑worth clients.
- Occasionally provide and deliver training, in collaboration with team members, to wealth management leaders, individual insurance leaders, and advisors on topics such as taxation, business transfers, data gathering, etc.
- Participate in the training of new team members and coach interns.
- Produce recommendations for analyzed cases and explain complex information in clear terms for advisors and financial planners across our networks.
- Occasionally participate in presenting financial planning reports to clients alongside the advisor or financial planner.
- Analyze all requests received by email, allocate work according to each person’s specialty, understand the request, the technical content, and the final objective.

The typical hiring range for this position is between $66 900 and $96 000 CAD per year; the base salary offered may vary depending on knowledge, skills, years of experience, and internal equity related to the role.
