Job description

Robert Half is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized French Bilingual Accountant / Office Manager to support both our client's finance function and daily office operations. This role is ideal for a professional who enjoys balancing accounting responsibilities with administrative leadership while working in a bilingual environment.

What You’ll Do

Accounting & Finance

  • Manage daily revenue accounting and accounts receivable activities
  • Perform monthly accounts receivable reconciliations
  • Perform monthly bank reconciliations
  • Prepare and distribute daily operational and KPI reports
  • Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual government filings
  • Support external audits as required
  • Communicate financial information and reporting in both French and English

Office Management & Administration

  • Oversee day-to-day office operations, including office supplies, equipment, and facilities
  • Develop, implement, and maintain office policies and procedures to promote efficiency
  • Coordinate and support internal meetings and company events
  • Act as the primary point of contact for vendors, service providers, and external partners
  • Ensure effective communication across departments and support organizational culture initiatives
  • Draft correspondence and handle administrative tasks in both French and English
  • Additional Responsibilities

  • Support special projects and other duties as assigned by the Senior Managers
  • Travel to service locations within GTA on a quarterly basis
  • What You’ll Bring

  • Post secondary education in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline preferred
  • Professional bilingual proficiency in French and English (written and verbal) – required
  • 2–3 years of experience in accounting and office administration
  • Experience working with ERP preferred
  • Strong proficiency with MS Office applications
  • Excellent organizational, multitasking, and time management skills
  • High attention to detail with strong analytical abilities
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently while also contributing effectively as a team player
