Overview
Position Summary : “Exploring Pediatric Trainees’ Experiences Using AI-Supported Deliberate Practice to Improve Serious Illness Conversations with English-Speaking Families in Quebec”
This project explores how pediatric residents learn serious illness communication skills using an AI-based simulation platform that enables repeated deliberate practice. The study examines trainee experiences and analyzes communication skill development using AI-generated dialogue transcripts.
Role Overview
- Support platform case and AI dialogue development.
- Conduct research with minimal supervision following established protocols.
- Coordinate participant recruitment, scheduling, and documentation.
- Support qualitative data collection, coding, thematic analysis, and knowledge translation.
- Assist with scholarly output (abstracts, posters, presentations and manuscripts) preparation and / or dissemination as the project progresses to the relevant stages.
