GrizzlyTrek is hiring Industrial Tank Cleaners for a shutdown near Fort St.

John, BC.

The project starts immediately: travel day is Saturday, September 12, 2026 and the first shift is Sunday, September 13, 2026.

The rate is $28.00 an hour plus overtime, your hotel is paid for, and you receive $50.00 a day for food while you are away from home.

This is confined space work in full PPE and it is one of the most physically demanding jobs on any site.

First shift Sunday, September 13, 2026 Schedule Shutdown rotation, 12 hours per day Compensation $28.00 per hour plus applicable overtime Overtime Time and a half after 8 hours in a day and after 40 hours in a week, double time after 12 hours in a day, per British Columbia employment standards Accommodations Hotel accommodation provided, plus a $50.00 per day living out allowance for food Tickets Fall Protection, First Aid, H2S Alive, Confined Space Rescue, and a current mask fit test.

All required, see below Experience Heavy industrial or confined space experience preferred The Work You will be cleaning industrial tanks and vessels on a shutdown, working inside confined spaces in a Tyvek suit, full face respirator and rubber boots.

The days are 12 hours, the conditions are hot and enclosed, and the schedule does not move.

Crews work under a supervisor with an attendant on the hole watch at all times.

If you have done tank cleaning, industrial vac work or confined space entry before, you already know what this job asks for.

What You'll Do Work for extended periods inside confined spaces, including tanks and vessels Perform duties in full PPE including Tyvek suit, full face respirator and rubber boots Safely complete cleaning scopes in hot, enclosed environments Maintain constant communication with attendants and supervisors during confined space operations Support shutdown timelines by completing assigned scopes on schedule Take part in pre-job hazard assessments, toolbox talks and safety meetings Follow all client, site and GrizzlyTrek safety policies without exception What You Bring Able to fit through an 18 inch manway Able to work in hot, confined spaces for long durations Able to wear full PPE, including respiratory protection, for extended periods Strong physical endurance and mental resilience Willing to travel to the Fort St.

John area and stay in the provided hotel for the length of the shutdown Committed to safe, respectful worksite behaviour Required Tickets and Pre-Employment Requirements All of the following are required for this project.

Tickets must be current and copies must be on file with GrizzlyTrek before you travel on September 12.

John, BC, with a $50.00 per day allowance for food Candidates must fully understand that this is difficult work and be prepared for uncomfortable conditions Why Tank Cleaners Take This Job The work starts now, not next quarter.

Your hotel is covered and you get $50.00 a day for food, so the wage stays in your pocket instead of going to a room and meals.

Overtime starts after 8 hours in a day, and on 12 hour shifts that adds up fast.

Pay is a gross hourly rate before deductions.
