Job description
Randstad Victoria is looking for a Customer Service minded Administrative Assistant for a temporary position in Parksville, BC.

You will be the first point of contact, answering phones and assisting customers with requests and calling clients for accounts that need to be paid. This role requires an enthusiastic, professional individual, with outstanding communication, inter-personal and multi-tasking skills. You must be able to deliver incredible service and support, organization, and collaboration. Training will be provided, with the expectation that you are quick learner, and are able to adapt to new systems quickly.

Opportunity: Temporary
Location: Parksville
Hours: Monday-Friday, 8.00am - 4.30pm
Wage: $25/hour
Duration: 2-3 Weeks
Start: As soon as possible

Responsibilities
• Answer phone calls and assisting customers
• Outgoing phone calls to follow up on service requests and updated contact information
• Managing client database
• A/R Support
• Updating client contact information
• Data entry
• Other responsibilities as requested


Qualifications
• Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
• Ability to communicate effectively both written and verbally
• Ability to take direction from multiple people
• Ability to manage several projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
• Fast learner - able to adapt to new systems quickly
• Ability to interact effectively with internal teams and clients
• Demonstrate problem-solving skills
• Exemplary organizational skills and attention to detail
• Self – starter able to work in a team as well as independently
• Proficiency in Microsoft office applications, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Experience with CRM software (Salesforce, Aries) an asset
