The Opportunity

We are seeking a Construction Manager to join our Canada Gas Projects Construction Services team in North Bay Ontario. In this role you will oversee field-based construction crews responsible for executing Integrity Projects across Eastern Canada.

Reporting to the Manager of Construction Services East this position leads and develops a strong competent proactive and engaged construction team.

Functional Role Overview :

The Construction Manager role is responsible for representing TC Energy interests in the field. This includes field progress monitoring / reporting establishing inspection resources and delivering in accordance with our standards and specifications. This role is field-based and provides critical safety leadership to the team.

What youll do

Leadership & Management

• Foster a workplace culture that encourages innovation ongoing improvement and high standards
• Promote effective teamwork and communication among crew members during projects
• Conduct performance reviews and provide constructive feedback
• Identify opportunities for cross-training to enhance team capabilities and individual growth
• Develop and oversee daily and weekly work schedules for teams of 7-10 field personnel
• Oversee administrative functions including timesheet approval permit management expense reporting and logistical planning
• Drive improvements in cost control quality safety standards compliance and customer satisfaction
• Support budget planning and personnel evaluations
• Contribute to department goals and lead implementation efforts within assigned areas
