Intent of the process
This inventory will be used for various tenures (indeterminate, deployment, specified period, assignment, secondment). Applicants who meet the essential qualifications will have their application included in the inventory for this ongoing selection process. In order to be considered, your application must clearly explain how you meet the following (essential qualifications)
EDUCATION :
Possession of a Dental Assistant Diploma Level II from an accredited Institution.
OCCUPATIONAL CERTIFICATION :
Must have current First Aid and CPR certification.
National Dental Assistance Examination Board (NDAEB) certification.
Possession of registration / Licensure with a provincial regulatory body or association as required in the province of work.
EXPERIENCES :
Experience working as a level II dental assistant.
Experience using Microsoft Office.
If you possess any of the following, your application must also clearly explain how you meet it (other qualifications)
ASSET EXPERIENCE :
Experience using a scheduler and electronic patient records.
Experience providing reception, scheduling or other admin duties in a dental office.
