Job description

Reporting to thePeople & Culture Manager the Accounting Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily accounting operations for the resort. This role includes managing cash sheet reconciliation, accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes, supervising a small accounting team, and maintaining accurate financial records. The manager supports timely financial reporting, enforces internal controls, and ensures compliance with company policies.

Key Responsibilities

Accounting Functions

  • Oversee day to day accounting functions, including cash sheet entries, petty cash, and safe balance
  • Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions, including invoice processing, vendor payments, customer billing, and collections when necessary
  • Perform and review monthly, and year-end reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial data
  • Train, supervise and evaluate the resort cash audit team to maintain high performance standards
  • Support resort revenue departments to ensure accuracy of point-of-sale systems for reporting purposes
  • Monitor sales taxes as recorded on cash sheets and ensure compliance with reporting requirements
  • Act as the primary contact with head office staff for financial and administrative matters
  • Ensure knowledge of, compliance with, and training on
