Job description

Grounds Keeper Facilities Attendant

Regular Part-time Sessional 21 Hours Per Week

April 1, 2026. to October 31, 2026

Duties: Reporting to the Campus Manager, this position is the primary person to oversee the grounds, gardens and greenhouse areas of the campus, and provide operational assistance to the Manager as it pertains to the grounds, garden/food forest, and greenhouse facilities.

Qualifications: Grade 12 or equivalent, Groundskeeping/Landscaping experience and horticultural training or an equivalent combination. Class 4 Driver License and the ability to operate ground maintenance equipment.

As an employee of College of the Rockies, the successful candidate is expected to be a lifelong learner who continues to develop his/her skills to help the College meet the needs of our students and our other valued clients.

Successful candidates may be required to complete a Criminal Record Check.

Salary: Position# 167

CUPE Pay Level 4 with a starting wage of $25.72 per hour with increments progressing to Step 5 as per the CUPE Collective Agreement.
