You will initiate, develop, and implement health and safety awareness through various programs, systems, committees, and engagement activities. Your efforts will be crucial in maintaining a safe working environment and enhancing the reputation of the Health and Safety department. You will handle employee personnel escalations, manage WCB claims, and ensure compliance with up-to-date safety regulations. By conducting field visits, inspections, and audits of construction job sites, you will ensure adherence to safety standards and identify areas for improvement.

The candidate should be a proactive self-starter, capable of handling conflict, making informed decisions, and working both independently and as part of a team.
What You Will Receive :
As the H&S Manager, you will earn a competitive salary ranging from $100k to $130k, based on your experience. Additionally, you will receive a car allowance, gas card, and comprehensive company-paid benefits. This role also offers the opportunity to mentor and guide a Safety Coordinator who will report directly to you, while being part of an established and successful company .
