Profile : Our client is a Commercial & Industrial Equipment Supplier and proud Canadian owned corporation representing products related to steam optimization, ventilation, and critical airflow applications. They are looking for an Account Manager to take care of their existing customers but also to make customers they do not currently work with want to partner with them. You enjoy a fast-paced low-pressure sales role, you have a technical background or education, you are a strong relationship builder, love a challenge and the opportunity to learn new things, this might be the job for you!
Territory : Province of Quebec
Work Place : Montreal (A mix between, Office, home office and road)
Products / Services : HVAC
Salary : 65 000$+ ( Depends on experience)
Commissions / Bonus : 10,000$ - 30,000$ in the first year (uncapped commissions)
Second year the potential is higher.
Car allowance : 550$ monthly + KM
Expenses reimbursement : All reasonable expenses are reimbursed.

Functions :
Identify business opportunities and proactively approach clients to inform and educate them on the company’s products and services
Develop annual sales forecasts and plans to achieve growth targets
Determine customer’s needs by demonstrating deep knowledge of the customer’s applications and processes.
Develop relationships with prospects and existing clients.
Maintain relationships with clients by providing support, information, and guidance.
Remain current on industry trends, market activities, and competitors.
Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks etc.
Create proposals and quotes where required
Frequent travel to conduct meetings with clients and prospective clients.
Attend tradeshows and conferences
Client visits
Presentations
Requirements :
Development vs Maintenance : 25% vs 75%
Road vs Office : 60% vs 40%
Languages : Bilingual (French and English)
Education : College or Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering
Training : Onsite training
Overnight Travel : No overnight travel for the first year (some training in the US might be required)
Years’ of experience : 1-2 years in a technical sales role
Other requirements :
Meet and exceed booking targets, pipeline management and key account management goals.
Experience in industrial sales is preferred.
Experience in external sales of technical or industrial products
Excellent relationship building skills

Experience working with engineering firms, contractors and end users
