Could you be the VIE – IS&T Operations and Training we’re looking for?

Your future role

You’ll specifically take care of managing small projects such as iPad/mobile management, PC management, and printer replacement, but also assist in the discovery of tools and networks for various sites.

We’ll look to you for:

  • Supporting the Operations team in the execution of project work packages, activities, documentation, quality assurance, reporting, and process improvements
  • Planning and managing training and communications across the Americas
  • Applying templates and records to document project activities following defined standards
  • Managing small projects, including device and infrastructure management
  • Collaborating with end users and the Operations team to identify and resolve concerns
  • Working under the direction of the Country Operations Manager

All about you

We value passion and attitude over experience. That’s why we don’t expect you to have every single skill. Instead, we’ve listed some that we think will help you succeed and grow in this role:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Business, or Engineering, supported by experience in IT infrastructure, or equivalent education and experience
  • Proven experience in end-user support
  • Fluent in English and French
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, multicultural environment
  • Familiarity with IT operations and infrastructure management
  • Problem-solving mindset with a focus on continuous improvement

Things you’ll enjoy Join us on a life-long transformative journey – the rail industry is here to stay, so you can grow and develop new skills and experiences throughout your career. You’ll also:

  • Work with new security standards for rail signalling
  • Collaborate with transverse teams and helpful colleagues
  • Contribute to innovative projects

Bilingualism

Proficiency in French and English is required. Knowledge of a third language is considered an asset when working with our international partners, suppliers, colleagues, and customers. In Quebec, French remains the primary working language of our company.

You don’t need to be a train enthusiast to thrive with us. We guarantee that when you step onto one of our trains with your friends or family, you’ll be proud. If you’re up for the challenge, we’d love to hear from you!

Important to note

As a global business, we’re an equal-opportunity employer that celebrates diversity across the 63 countries we operate in. We’re committed to creating an inclusive workplace for everyone.
