Job description

Job description :

We are seeking an experienced mechanical engineer to participate in the design and optimization of automated conveyor systems for industrial projects. The candidate will also provide technical support to resolve mechanical issues and improve equipment performance.

Responsibilities:

  • Design automated conveyor systems and produce 2D/3D technical drawings.
  • Select mechanical components and ensure equipment compliance.
  • Collaborate with automation, manufacturing, and installation teams.
  • Support commissioning and after-sales service.
  • Diagnose mechanical problems and propose solutions for continuous improvement.
  • Manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines and budgets.

Skills and qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.
  • Member of the OIQ or in the process of becoming one.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in industrial equipment design.
  • Experience in conveyors, automation, or material handling is a significant asset.
  • Proficiency in 3D design software (Inventor or equivalent).
  • Strong problem-solving and continuous improvement skills.
  • Bilingual
